No Excuses November!!!!
All month I have been posting on my Instagram regarding this mantra!!! Every year, around this time, I start to slow down, and become reclusive. Between the combination of the weather change, time change, kids activities increasing, holidays, and birthdays; easily, I would become overwhelmed. I would stop whatever fitness routine or diet that I started, and use every reason under the sun for why I would barely workout. Then I would get into the habit of putting off my health and fitness goals until 'after the holidays.' By the time the holidays were over, I would be up 10-30lbs, starting all over again. Then the cycle would repeat.
This year, I made the decision to hold myself accountable by declaring this month No Excuses November. My birthday is November 17th, and I usually like to eat, drink, and party. This year, I decided to celebrate myself, and how far I have come through my healthy lifestyle journey. Its a celebration of fully giving myself permission to let go of my limiting beliefs, and stepping into my calling. I wanted to bring other women with me who are giving up the excuses, and tackling those goals, no matter what. The No Excuses November movement encourages busy mothers to keep going despite the temptation to give up!!! It's so easy to fall behind, and to end up back at square one. This November, there will be no more excuses or any obstacles to hold you back. No Excuses November is a declaration to yourself and other's that you are not playing games when it comes to your health no matter what.
